Dear new homeowner,
We bought our home on Foothill Street right before the COVID pandemic hit, and spent so much of that first year getting to enjoy this sweet home.
We took long walks on the many trails in the woods around the house, grilled under twinkle lights on the back deck, and converted our basement into an awesome rec room where many games of darts were played and too many Netflix series were binged.
The most special thing about this house is that it was the one we brought our babies home to. Our children have loved this home. They learned to walk in the entryway, had their first bites of real food in the kitchen, built snowmen in the big front yard, and spent many hours riding their scooters to the playground up the street.
This is such a wonderful community. Though we’ll truly miss the playgrounds, pools, quick drives into Occoquan, and visiting the marina to watch the ducks, we will miss the neighbors most of all. This is the type of street where they drop off meals, mow your grass, shovel snow off your walkways, pick up after their pets(!), and the kids all play together outside.
It has been a true joy for a family just starting out, and though we are sad to leave, we are excited for whoever gets to love this house as much as we did!
