Unit 1, The Page: The lower level unit was named The Page after NG Agent and Aunt to us all, Saneva Zayas. The Page, her mother and aunt's maiden names, honors her mother and her two aunts. One aunt has passed away from her breast cancer battle, and her mother and other aunt are currently fighting breast cancer.

Unit 2, The Evelyn: The main level unit is named The Evelyn after Evelyn Lloyd. Evelyn is the aunt of NG Agents Shawn and Etienne Eaton. Evelyn (Yvonne to her friends and Auntie to Shawn and Etienne) lost her battle with lung cancer earlier this year. Evelyn was the glue of the Lloyd family and a light to the lives she touched.

Unit 3, The Vicki: The Penthouse level is named The Vicki after Nellis Group founder and Matriarch, Vicki Nellis. Sadly, Vicki lost her battle with brain cancer in 2010. Vicki Nellis truly had a servant's heart, and we are incredibly proud to name the building and this unit after her Legacy and in her honor.

The Legacy is located only 5 minutes or 1.1 miles from The Parks at Walter Reed, a growing, vibrant community that upends the ordinary. The 66-acre redevelopment of the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center redefines city living and puts the outdoors in easy reach. At full build-out, The Parks will include 3.1 million square feet of mixed-use development and will feature adaptive reuse of existing historic buildings, new construction, and over 20 acres of open space.

The anchor of the development is a Whole Foods (currently being built, delivery 2021.) The Parks is planned to include 190,000 square feet of retail, 325,000 square feet of office, medical and educational, 20,000 square feet of creative and cultural uses, and a hotel/conference center

The Legacy also has impeccable proximity to Rock Creek Park and its athletic facilities and trails. The Carter Barron Amphitheater and the Citi Open Tennis Stadium are also located in this portion of Rock Creek Park. The Uptown Farmers Market (open Saturdays) is a couple of blocks from your front door!  There are also various neighborhood markets, bars, and restaurants within walking distance of The Legacy. Those offerings include the Gold Coast Market, Delicia's Market, Gold Coast Café, Moreland's, Highlands, Little Cocos, and Catrachitos Restaurant, to name a few.  The Columbia Heights retail corridor is located south on 14th Street, and only an 11-minute bus ride/drive or a 1.8-mile walk/roll away.

The Legacy is also Metro accessible. Located between three Metro Stations, your new home is serviced by the Georgia Ave-Petworth station (Green/Yellow Lines) and is 1.3 miles south. Fort Totten Metro Station (Green/Yellow Lines) 1.7 miles to the east. Lastly, there is the Columbia Heights Metro Station (Also Green/Yellow Lines,) which is 2.1 miles to the southwest.

We hope that these three exceptional units' respective owners are blessed with many happy years of fond memories, good fortune, and good health. We are sure that you will fall in love with all of the things to see and do here and will come to love Sixteenth Street Heights as much as we do!
