To the Future Owners of 15456 Waters Creek Drive,
We purchased this home 19 years ago and happily raised our three children here. Having retired and reached our mid-60's, it is time for us to downsize. We will miss this beautiful home and neighborhood that we love.
The house sits on a quiet cul-de-sac. You can dine or sit on the deck and patio, as we often do, and look at acres of protected woodlands around Cub Run Stream. While the house is close to everything, it has a calming pastoral feel every day of the year.
Virginia Run Elementary School is just a short walk from the house. You can get to the middle and high schools with a simple 10 minute drive. We are thankful to have raised our children in the excellent Fairfax County School System.
The Virginia Run community is wonderful. Kind and caring neighbors surround us, the type of people who not only care for their properties but will gladly lend a hand if you ever need help. The community park, walking trails, pool, and clubhouse are kept in excellent condition. The community is a fantastic place to walk, ride bikes, play pickleball and other games, swim, and all things outdoor recreation.
Just minutes from the house, you have the Manassas Battlefield Park, a good winery, and all kinds of restaurants and cafes. The best supermarket ever - Wegmans - and an excellent Giant are within a 15-minute drive. For commuters, the house is a short drive from a commuter lot, and the location provides easy access to Highway 66, the Dulles Toll Road, and both the Orange and Silver Metro lines.
