A secluded offering of timeless elegance, this distinguished three-level brick Colonial is gracefully positioned within the coveted Lakewood Hills enclave.
Approached by a private pipestem drive and embraced by mature landscaping and wooded serenity, the residence presents a rare sense of arrival and retreat.
Inside, classic architectural details and enduring craftsmanship set the tone. Rich hardwood floors, refined crown molding, and beautifully proportioned formal living and dining rooms create an atmosphere of understated sophistication.
The inviting family room, centered around a gas fireplace, offers a warm yet polished setting for both intimate evenings and elegant entertaining.
The home’s connection to outdoor living is exceptional. A screened-in porch and expansive deck extend the living space outdoors, overlooking a peaceful, tree-lined backdrop. The walk-out lower level, complete with a bath rough-in, presents a blank canvas for a bespoke recreation lounge, guest retreat, or wellness space—allowing the next owner to curate the home to their vision.
An attached two-car garage, thoughtfully designed hardscapes, and the tranquility of an established neighborhood with a voluntary HOA complete this exceptional offering.
Ideally situated near parks, dining, shopping, and major commuter routes, the home delivers refined living with effortless access to Northern Virginia’s most desirable conveniences.

Letter from Seller
Dear Prospective Home Buyer,
As we prepare to say goodbye to this house, we wanted to share a little of its story with you.
For 45 years, this home has been the backdrop of our family's life. Within these walls we celebrated milestones, weathered challenges, developed and crafted various hobbies and skills, laughed often, and learned what it truly means to feel safe and grounded. This house has never been a structure to us - it has been a steady, comforting presence.
The single pipestem driveway has always been a defining feature that pulls you back into the wooded lot. In more recent years, sitting on the screened in porch highlights the restorative appeal of feeling like you are high above in a treehouse. Morning coffee, evening conversations, quiet moments listening to the breeze through the trees - it's a space that invites you to slow down and breathe. We hope you feel the same peace and joy especially in late February/March when yellow daffodils bloom throughout the woods.
This home has served our family well, and we believe it still has much life and love to give. While it's not easy to let go after so many years, it brings us comfort knowing it's ready for a new chapter and a new family to fill it with their own memories, traditions, and laughter.
We hope you'll love this home as deeply as we have and that it becomes a place where you feel truly at home from the very first day.
With warm wishes for all that's ahead,
The Hempstead Family
