Letter from Seller
Dear Future Homeowners,
Every home has a story.
IThis one has been ours for nearly three years, though we always imagined it would be much longer.
As an active-duty military family, we recently received Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders. While it's one of the greatest privileges to serve our country, leaving the house we have made a home is also one of the hardest parts of military life. Sometimes, just when a place truly becomes home, we have to say goodbye. If these orders hadn't come, we wouldn't be writing this letter—we'd be planning our next project and looking forward towards retiring in this lovely home.
From the day we received the keys, we poured ourselves into this home. Between the entire family, we've invested thousands of hours making this house everything we dreamed it could be. Weekends disappeared into landscaping projects, evenings were spent painting and improving rooms, and countless small details were completed simply because we wanted this home to be the very best it could be. Every improvement was made with pride, care, and the shared belief that a home should be beautiful, welcoming and an incredible space to entertain and raise a family.
And what surprised us most wasn't the house—it was community surrounding us.
We found neighbors who quickly became friends. The kind who wave from the driveway, stop to chat during evening walks, lend a hand without being asked, and genuinely look out for one another. That sense of community is rare, and it's something we'll miss just as much as the home itself.
There's also a comfort here that's hard to describe until you've lived it. Children play outside. Families walk together in the evenings. Dogs greet one another on neighborhood sidewalks. It feels safe, peaceful, and connected in a way that reminds you what a neighborhood is supposed to be.
Whether you're beginning your family's story, watching it grow, or entering a new chapter of life, we believe this home has a way of elevating it. It's been the foundation for countless memories for us, and we hope it becomes the same for yours.
Leaving is bittersweet, but knowing another family will have the opportunity to love this home gives us peace. We hope you'll celebrate birthdays around the dining table, laugh with friends in the backyard, enjoy quiet mornings with coffee, and create traditions that become cherished memories for years to come.
Thank you for considering becoming the next chapter in this home's story. We hope it gives you the same sense of comfort, happiness, and belonging that it has given our family.
We wish you all the best,
Vanessa, Caleb, Jacqueline, & Hemingway
