Letter from Seller

Dear Prospective Homebuyer,

Our family has lived here on Broadleaf Drive for the past six years. We have loved our time here, and are only leaving to move back closer to family out-of-state.

We moved in as our daughter started middle school. We learned as we were coming in that the previous owner’s daughter had also moved in just as she was starting middle school – though that was many decades ago, as she was selling the home at that point for her now elderly parents.

We’ve loved the big back yard, where we’d hang a hammock between the two trees at the back, or enjoy the fire pit on the patio. The home has been great for entertaining from holidays with our family, to fun times with friends such as game nights, summer cookouts, and dinner on our screened porch.

Broadleaf Drive is fantastic – a mix of families with kids ranging from nearly newborn to high schoolers, as well as retired couples and recent empty nesters. No matter where you are in life, you’ll find a friend on our block.

While Broadleaf Drive is a quiet street, we’re minutes from everything there is to enjoy about Vienna. This small town has an abundance of fun, food and social events to enjoy. It’s an easy walk into town, which we do frequently – whether that’s for one of Vienna’s big annual events like Viva Vienna, Oktoberfest or the summer music series, or whether it’s just to enjoy a beer at Caboose Brewing, dinner on Church Street, or shop at the weekly farmer’s market. We ride bikes on the W&OD trail, which is just a couple minutes away, and we’ve loved the proximity to Washington, D.C. as well, and frequently go in by both metro and car.

We’ll miss living here and hope it’s as special and filled with as many memories for its next owners.

Warmly,

Alan & Lea Hart
