They’re connected directly to the Pentagon City Metro Station Stop, which gives you extremely easy access. Their mall is 4 stories high and has over 164 stores, including Macy’s, Nordstrom, Bath and Body Works, Apple, Sephora, Pandora, Lush and J. Crew. After all that shopping, you’re sure to have worked up an appetite so try one of their many food options like Shake Shack, Chipotle or Taco Bell. If you’re looking for a better-quality meal though, try out Fyve Restaurant lounge, and order their Beef Short Ribs. You won’t be disappointed. However, if Pentagon City Mall is a little too upscale and you’d like to be thrifty like the financially responsible human you are, Crystal City Shops is the mall for you, and it’s only 1 mile away. 

 

Arlington National Cemetery, as we mentioned before, is also a massive bonus of buying in the community of Arlington. It’s the perfect educational day trip for the family, where you’ll gain physical exercise, a deeper education and a newfound appreciation for those who have served. You’ll also be able to visit The John F. Kennedy Eternal Flame and The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to pay your respects. Just make sure you bring your walking shoes because the Arlington National Cemetery is 624 acres with over 400,000 veterans buried there. 

Finally, for families buying in Arlington, their coveted school system is a massive advantage. They’re home to the number one elementary school in Virginia, being Arlington Traditional Elementary School as well as the number two elementary school in Virginia, being Jamestown Elementary. You also have access to Swanson Middle School, Yorktown High School and Washington Liberty High School, all of which are also highly rated. Georgetown University and Strayer University also reside in Arlington.
