THINGS TO DO IN WESTHAVEN
Westhaven is a lovely community in Montgomery County, Maryland. Conveniently close to I-495, Washington, DC and the Bethesda & Friendship Heights Metro Stations. Bethesda's an extremely active community where there is always something fun going on. The city hosts a variety of special events such as, the Taste of Bethesda, Imagination Bethesda, a free Summer Concert Series and the Bethesda Literary Festival to name a few. 1. Bethesda Row - Go shopping at a mall that offers a variety of trendy retail shops, restaurants & a movie theater, boutiques, restaurants, and the Amazon book store is wonderful.
2. Round House Theatre - Round House is one of the leading professional theaters in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, producing a full season of modern classics, new plays and musicals for more than 55,000 patrons each year at a 400-seat theater in Bethesda, Maryland.
3. Glenstone Museum - Check out Glenstone Museum's beautiful artwork and its famous expansive sculpture garden. A private contemporary art museum located in Potomac, Maryland, 15 miles from downtown Washington, D.C. Showing contemporary art in a modern gallery building.
4. Billy Goat Trail - If you're in for some adventure check out Billy Goat Trail 4.7-mile hiking trail that follows a path between the C&O Canal and the Potomac River within the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park near Great Falls in Montgomery County, Maryland.
