Dear Prospective Homebuyer,

Our family has lived in the home on Galesbury Lane in Chantilly for 33 wonderful years! If we could still manage all the stairs, we definitely wouldn’t leave our very close neighbors and the lovely, well-kept neighborhood. Our three sons grew up biking the trails, and exploring the creek bed with children living on the Lane. Galesbury often hosts the annual Waverly Crossing block party, due to close proximity to the cul-de-sac, and some very community-oriented residents. We hope you’ll meet the happy young woman who recently bought a home on the Lane because she wanted to return to the street where she grew up!

We’ve hosted pig roasts, graduation parties, and our Golden Wedding Anniversary on our spacious deck and basketball court out back, and hope you’ll enjoy entertaining there as much as we did. Our eight grandchildren, our sons and their wives enjoyed Christmas mayhem opening presents in the big, open basement, where kids could run around to their hearts’ content!

The community is well-situated with parkland privacy, as well as access to Route 50, many churches and adjoining residential neighborhoods. We never felt far away from grocery shopping and other amenities. Our latest addition has been none other than Pupatella’s, the premier Neopolitan pizza restaurant from Arlington, now less than 5 minutes down our hill!! We have more shopping/restaurant possibilities nearby than is healthy for the average person, with Fair Oaks Mall, Fair Lakes, Greenbriar, and other smaller venues.

We’re really going to miss our friends and neighbors, (Some are still original owners!) as we move to a retirement community (where you only find steps unless you really look for them).
