Signal Hill is a Burke, Virginia community located across from Lake Braddock Secondary School in Fairfax County, just around the corner from the Rolling Road VRE commuter train, Braddock Road and I-495.

Signal Hill has a grassy common area and a trail common area that is available for use by the community. Like many of the neighborhoods of Burke and Springfield, Signal Hill does not have their own pool, but many residents purchase a membership to nearby Parliment Swim Club. Wakefield Park is right around the corner and has a playground, skate park, tennis, sports fields, the Audrey Moore fitness & aquatic re center (memberships or daily fee) & much more.


Residents have many options for commuting throughout the DC Metro Area. Braddock Road, I-495 and the convenient HOV/Toll Ramp is just down the street. For those looking for a less stressful commute, the Rolling Road VRE (Virginia Railway Express) commuter train station is just 3 miles away. The Franconia-Springfield metro is also another option, just 7 miles away down I-495 and the mixing bowl (I-95, I-395, I-495) is down by the metro. The community bus stop on Burke Lake Road provides direct access to the Pentagon & the metro there.

Kings Park Shopping Center is half a mile down the street and features a grocery store, convenience store & a few restaurants & other services. Right around the corner from there you will find Ravensworth Plantation shopping center and the previously discussed Wakefield Park & Rec center.


Spartans Family Restaurant, Kilroys and the Springfield Whole Foods are community favorites and hopping on 495 for shopping & dining at Springfield Town center or Tysons Corner is a breeze.
