I'm a real estate broker, and operate a separate property management company to manage homes for clients who have left the Washington, D.C. area. I'm also a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser. I perform the analyses for our buyers and sellers before listing or purchasing a home, and look at the process from the bank/lender standpoint to ensure proper pricing.

I maintain the Nellis Group website, and I work through listings and contracts. My favorite part of our business is assisting our buyers and sellers work through their Real Estate transaction all the way to settlement.
I received my Masters in Business Administration, and went on to work in the corporate world for several years before joining the Nellis Group. The skills i learned both in my education and corporate experience gives me a unique perspective on Real Estate, marketing, and the industry.

Before joining the team, I worked at the Federal Communications Commission, and I also spent some time serving in the Peace Corps in Venezuela. I will always have a fondness for Latin American culture and communities, and I can speak Spanish. I have a MSEE from Purdue University. Some of my hobbies include amateur radio, playing tennis, mentoring prison inmates, and teaching elementary age children in a Good News Club.
I reside in Burke. Although I am familiar with all areas of Northern Virginia, I consider Herndon, Chantilly, Sterling and Burke as my specialty areas.

Vicki Nellis founded the Nellis Group in 1983. Although she passed away in 2010, she will always be remembered for her how well she took care of her clients and her family, and her closeness with God.
