Woodbridge is a suburb of Washington, D.C. best known for its shopping at Potomac Mills, the Northern Virginia Community College Woodbridge Campus, and its development boom that has made the area grow rapidly since the mid-1980s. Woodbridge is located in Price William County and is off I-95.

Notable parks in Woodbridge include the Marumsco National Wildlife Refuge, Veterans Memorial Park, and Lancaster Park. Woodbridge is bordered on one side by Belmont Bay, a picturesque body of water that is a part of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

Because Woodbridge is located along so much water, there are plenty of recreational activities for residents. Woodbridge has several marinas, and golfers can stay occupied at Osprey's Golf Club, Old Hickory Golf Club, or Pohick Bay Regional Park Golf Course.
