Woodbridge is a suburb of Washington, D.C. best known for its shopping at Potomac Mills, the Northern Virginia Community College Woodbridge Campus, and its development boom that has made the area grow rapidly since the mid-1980s. Woodbridge is located in Prince William County and is off I-95.
Notable parks in Woodbridge include the Marumsco National Wildlife Refuge, Veterans Memorial Park, and Lancaster Park. Woodbridge is bordered on one side by Belmont Bay, a picturesque body of water that is a part of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
