Lyon Village is a historic community in Arlington, Virginia. The community is home to about 2,500 residents, known for its beautiful tree-lined streets and gorgeous old homes. The neighborhood is nestled between Lee Highway to the North, Kirkwood Road to the West and Wilson Boulevard to the South and East and is considered to be part of Clarendon, Arlington’s fastest growing retail and dining areas.
Other area amenities include two playgrounds, and walking distance to two stops on the Washington Metro Orange Line: Clarendon and Courthouse. Many of Lyon Village’s residents use the Metro for easy and convenient access to work and Washington, D.C. for a unique sight seeing and shopping scene.
The area features several top-rated golf courses, including Congressional Country Club, home of the 2011 U.S. Open and the East Potomac Golf Course in Washington, D.C., as well as the Washington Golf and County Club in Arlington.
The Lyon Village Citizens Association hosts several exciting events and festivals though out the year, including a 4th of July picnic, Spring Easter Egg Hunt and a December Holiday Party. With so much going on, and a convenient location with easy access to the nation’s capital and many points throughout the metro area, Lyon Village should not be overlooked!
