Clarendon is one of the neighborhoods in Arlington, Virginia built around the DC Metro system Orange Line. The community is complete with a variety of housing types, including townhomes, single-family homes as well as new luxury apartments and condominiums.

Since the opening of the Clarendon Metro station in the 80’s, it has become increasingly popular and well known due to its eccentric nightlife, unique shops and stores and great restaurants, like Whitlow's, Boulevard Woodgrill, La Tasca, Restaurant 3, Harry's Tap Room, and Tandoori Nights. Clarendon continues to undergo revitalization, which has attracted popular shops like Apple, Crate & Barrel, and Free People. The area grocery store is Whole Food's, across the street from a Starbuck's.

Clarendon is also the host city to many county events, including the annual Mardi Gras Parade and Arlington’s Neighborhood Day Parade. Along with all of these annual events, Clarendon also hosts a seasonal farmers market from Memorial Day to Labor Day, complete with organic and fresh fruits, plants and flowers, baked goods, crafts, and more!
