Cherrydale

Cherrydale is a neighborhood in the northern area of Arlington centered in the popular area known as ‘Five Points’, where Quincy Street, Military Road, and Old Dominion Road are all intersected by Lee Highway (US Route 29). The area is located only three miles from Washington, D.C. on the Potomac River.

Although the community is mostly single-family homes, there are also many townhome developments, four apartment/condo complexes and even an apartment building for seniors. The single-family homes are each uniquely built with varied architectural styles and floorplans.

As for education, the Cherrydale community is served by Arlington County Public Schools, including nearby lottery magnet H-B Woodlawn Secondary High School.

There is a Giant down the road, as well as two gas stations, a car dealership, Cherrydale Hardware store, a nail salon, and other convenient shops nearby.
