This year Washington DC again hosts their annual marathon entitled The National Marathon. The main corporate sponsor for the event is Suntrust. This year Team Cure will be running together in order to bring awareness for Brain Cancer. The runners for Team Cure are: Michael Rogers, Thomas Ferri, Kristan Cole, Denny Grimes & James Nellis.

      If you recall during the Marine Corps Marathon, I requested you choose from among different costumes for him to wear. An overwhelming landslide of votes turned him into Superman for the day. For this marathon you will be selecting the after-marathon pose/look. Michael Rogers & James Nellis decided to grow beards prior to the marathon. Yes, there is considerable concern over the wind drag caused by the beards. I have to tell you that normally I like to run out front with the Kenyans... for this marathon considering the wind drag it will hold me back at least 2-3 hours from my optimal time...

       I need your help to decide on the best post-race look when shaving off the beard. There are 4 choices: lamb chops, gotee, mustache or babyface... Please leave your comment to select the best look. Electric shavers will be on site at RFK for the post race shave...
