Ray's Hellburger: A Rosslyn Community Favorite In Arlington
If you have lived in the Northern Virginia area for a while, you probably remember hearing a lot of news about President Obama eating at a Rosslyn hamburger joint. That restaurant was Ray's Hell Burger, and it is one of the most popular places to eat for Arlington residents. People make the trek to Ray's from all over the country, and many people will drive out of their way just to get some famous burgers. If you live in the neighborhood, you are going to love taking the short trip.

The menu is very simple. Seven delicious hamburgers in big and small sizes with toppings & seasonings to add, Veggie & Turkey Burgers, and a few classic sides like sweet potato french fries and mac & cheese. (View Sample Menu at Web Site)

The restaurant itself is really small, almost like a dive. The paper menus taped to the wall are not much to look at. Due to the popularity it is often tough to get a good seat but once you get your meal placed on your table you realize why the crowds flock to Ray's.
The area surrounding Ray's Hell Burger has a lot of great places to live. Right around the corner are the garden-style condominiums of Colonial Village. The community is made up of many small condo buildings and a lot of beautiful green space, landscaping, and trees. The area is deceptive as the high-rises of Rosslyn are only a mile away.
One of those Colonial Village condos is a spacious two-bedroom located at 1817 N. Rhodes Street. That is only a quarter mile away from Ray's and located right in the popular Orange-Line area of Arlington. Clarendon, Courthouse, and Rosslyn are all very close.
