Spring has sprung!  Dusting off the clubs? Motor out I-66 W to  western PW County where fantastic courses offer great play! Your options are wide open when deciding where to make your tee time!

First stop--exit at Gainesville!  This is the beginning of Gateway Golf!  The course at Virginia Oaks, designed by P.B. Dye, is both memorable and challenging, nestled in one of the area’s prettiest communities!   A semi-private club, you can research online for one of the many specials offered.  Close by, in beautiful, gated “Lake Manassas”, is the private, premier Robert Trent Jones course where the President’s Cup was played a few years ago.  Within that same community is the Stonewall course, designed by Tom Jackson.  This popular public course, acclaimed by Golf Digest, is filled with history and excitement!  Another choice is Heritage Hunt Golf Club.  Designed by Arthur Hills, this course features dramatic elevation changes.

On to Haymarket and The Piedmont Golf Club in the gated community of the same name.   This Tom Fazio-designed course is sited at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.  Offering athletic, social, culinary, and recreational activities, this club offers something for the whole family.

Down the road, Dominion Valley Country Club is just a mile away.  Featuring an Arnold Palmer signature golf course in a gated community, this semi-private club offers many amenities.   Within the Dominion Valley community is an executive golf course, The Regency, which is a Palmer-inspired design as well.

A nationally recognized public course, Bull Run Golf, is another popular favorite in Haymarket.

Take advantage of the proximity these eight courses have to one another and investigate what each has to offer!  Who knows--you may find that your home search should include these areas.  Then you can leave the driving to someone else!
