Recently the Chief Economist, Lawrence Yun for National Association of Realtors (NAR) stated his thoughts on the National Real Estate market. Yun described the trends we saw in 2010 and what to expect in 2011. He also talked about the top long-term job growth. The Top 4 were: Utah, Florida, Colorado & Virgina. All above the National Average. Virginia benefits greatly from the close proximity to Washington DC and the large demand for military and government in the area.

 

      Denny Grimes with Royal Shell Real Estate was the main presenter and closed the evening with the local trends and statistics for Fort Myers, Florida. Grimes focused on 3 items as the foundation of identifying the trends and data in Florida. The three are sales price, inventory and sold homes.
