As a Realtor, receiving a CRS (Council of Resident Specialists) designation is a big step. The intense education and training required to achieve this designation provides a CRS Realtor with the tools and strategies necessary to have continued success working with clients in real estate transactions.

CRS: Certified Residential Specialist is the only designation within Real Estate which requires both education and production. As a result, less than 2% of Realtors have obtained this elite designation. The Nellis Group has had this distinction as a CRS designee since the early 1980s. In 2009, CRS hired James Nellis to educate Realtors around the Country and help them reach higher levels of Real Estate professionalism.

I had the opportunity to go to a NHL Hockey game earlier today with a Nationally recognized Top Producer: Nate Martinez from Glendale, Arizona. Martinez and The Nellis Group were both part of the Top 100 Re/Max Teams in the world in 2011. We had a chance to talk about the Phoenix real estate market and I was intrigued to find out it was parallel to the Washington DC metro market.

Both real estate markets are currently thriving. We are seeing buyers that had been waiting for more homes or lower interest rates start taking advantage of the current inventory. Martinez mentioned that many sales were cash offers and the majority had multiple offers.

Earlier today we received multiple offers for a home in Alexandria and last week we had multiple offers on another Nellis Group listing. I am in Arizona to also attend and share with other top Realtors from around the Country at a conference entitled "Sellabration". I can't wait to hear about the different real estate markets throughout the country.

CRS, Certified Residential Specialists recently named James Nellis as their newest CRS Instructor. A prestigious position with less than 25 National Instructors inspiring and educating the elite Realtors of the Industry. CRS is recognized as the premiere designation within Real Estate that requires both production (home sales) and education (core classes to further empower Realtors to work with their clients).

Vicki Nellis & James Nellis received their CRS designations over 10 years ago. It has been a valuable resource of knowledge, experience and a network of Realtors throughout the Country for referrals. It is an honor that James Nellis was hand-picked as one of the CRS Instructors.

James Nellis has made a name in technology, online marketing and negotiating in Real Estate. Within CRS there are specific disciplines and James Nellis will be teaching CRS 202.
