American University Park is made up of almost exclusively single-family homes, although there are a few other options available. “Friendship Park” serves as a central hub for community activity with many activities occurring all year long!
The community is located near a variety of public, private and Catholic schools ranging from pre-kindergarten to high school.  The area also offers a pleasant shopping experience with nearby Georgetown, featuring many upscale shopping and dining opportunities like Victoria’s Secret, Christian-Bernard and Clyde’s restaurant, as well as a very vibrant nightlife.
