The lake makes for a relaxing and peaceful afternoon and is used by the community for boating, fishing (the lake is stocked), and swimming. The community is also horse friendly and contains central stables, a barn, a horse pasture, and an equestrian training course.

Location

The community is located right off of Lawyer's road, which at points is also known as West Ox Road, and Reston Parkway. The Reston Town Center is only 10 minutes away and is Herndon's premier place for nightlife, entertainment, shopping, and dining. Reston Town Center has a movie theater, an ice skating rink in the winter, and is home to many community events and festivals. For those commuting into Washington DC, the area features a Metro Park & Ride as well as buses that transport residents to the West Falls Church Metro. Dulles Airport is also only ten minutes away.

Surrounding Area

The neighborhood is located in close proximity to the Dulles Toll Road and Route 7 which are gateways to Interstate 66 and the Tyson's Corner area. Lawyer's Road leads to Route 50 which meets up with interstate 66. Metro Expansion
