Tartan Hills is a small subsection of the Chestnut Hills West community located in Fairfax, Virginia. Set between the Little River Turnpike and Braddock Road the community is in a convenient location close to recreation, dining, shopping and it is only a short drive to Vienna Metro or I-495. The neighborhood features over 80 single family homes built in the late 70's/early 80's.
The neighborhood and surrounding Fairfax area are filled with parks. Right within the community you will find the Smokewood Park Trail, a beautiful trail system that residents love to take advantage of. Other nearby parks and trails involves Long Branch Stream Valley Park.
Residents love being so close to the nightlife and community events of Old Town Fairfax and the newer Mosaic District. Shopping can be found all over, but nothing is more convenient than hitting up the Fair City Mall that is just around the corner from the community. All 3 Fairfax County Schools are also within a mile or so of the neighborhood.
